Three ways to spend it, one flight north, and a girl I'd very much like to spend it with.
Baby, I really want to have a holiday with you and I'm so excited. I'm sorry I made it difficult to this point.
With all the rain down here, there's a chance my baseball gets called off. If it does then I can fly up on Saturday morning or even late Friday. If not then I'll fly up Saturday night at about 7 or so. I'm happy to book flights and then I can think on the fly.
If you'd rather have a massive sleep-in on Saturday that is more than understandable after a massive week, but let's discuss closer!
I really do want you to not miss out on anything with work. I truly mean it, and while I expressed that poorly, I just meant that you don't need to feel like I take priority. For that I'm guessing places like Tangalooma where reception might be poor(?) may not be great options, however if I know about baseball early enough, and you're up for it, we could do that easily for two nights as I could get there earlier.
Anyway, I love you and hope this starts to get you excited for a fun weekend!
Every one of them starts the same way: Brisbane, Saturday night, you and me. The map is live, so drag it around.
Brisbane Saturday night, ferry across Sunday, one night on the island and back Monday. Sand, water the colour of a swimming pool, and humpbacks going past the beach. This is the one I really want.
Brisbane Saturday night, then drive up Sunday morning. Hastings Street, the national park walk at the good time of day, and a poolside villa to come back to. You get to show me where you grew up.
The shortest drive and the softest landing. We could be at the beach by lunchtime whichever flight I get. It's the Gold Coast. It does what it says.
Whales, your old hood, or an hour down the highway. Say the word and I'll book it.
